Helping you deliver choice, comfort and inclusion in your kit policy

An NGB’s Partnership with Inclusive Sportswear is essential to educate, advocate and inspire the movement of inclusive sports kit policy and practice.

We invite NGBs to pledge to the Inclusive Sportswear Charter to showcase their leadership for equality and inclusion.

Following the Charter Pledge, we help NGBs become Inclusive Sportswear Champions.

To achieve this status, we take NGBs through the Inclusive Sportswear Champion process, which starts with the Charter Pledge.

NGB members can join the Community Platform to access the Guidance, become Inclusive Sportswear Advocates, and then book a consultation.

What is the Inclusive Sportswear Charter Pledge?

The Charter Pledge commits your organisation to:
Embed the Inclusive Sportswear Charter in sports kit policies, practices and decisions
Contribute to unifying attitudes to sports kit policy and practice to support choice and enjoyment
Support the education and advocacy work of Inclusive Sportswear

Champion Process

  • A dynamic collaborative piece of work, starting with the Inclusive Sportswear Charter Pledge.
  • We help you identify strengths & improvements and internal findings to align with the Inclusive Sportswear Charter.
  • Collectively we produce 5 reports, and upon successful completion, you will gain Inclusive Sportswear Champion status.
  • The 5-phase process culminates in an Implementation Strategy which will be reviewed by Inclusive Sportswear.

How is the NGB Champion Process Undertaken?

The work of the Inclusive Sportswear Champion Process can be undertaken in two ways, or a hybrid depending on the context of the NGB.

*NGB Lead refers to the person who will lead communications and actions for the Inclusive Sportswear Project.

NGB Led Project
  • NGB internally conducts an Inclusive Sportswear Project, led by NGB Lead*.
  • Includes scaled fee at Phase 1 to support Inclusive Sportswear Community work.
  • At any phase, NGB can consult Inclusive Sportswear for extra support.
Inclusive Sportswear Led Project
  • NGB partners with Inclusive Sportswear to lead Champion Process & lead Inclusive Sportswear Project with NGB Lead.
  • Includes scaled fee at Phase 1 to support Inclusive Sportswear Community work.
  • Project conducted as a consultancy project.
